The URL for HA fixes is:
http://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/set2/sas/f/hacmp/home.html

Let's assume, for the sake of argument, that it is a bug. I would recommend updating to Technology Level (as they are called now - since ML03 I believe) 5 or even 6 (which came out about 14 days ago.)
And I can't guarantee that it is a bug or that updating will make it go away. However, your systems are so downlevel it is too difficult for me to create a situation to test it.
I would recommend you update unless there is a specific reason not to (e.g., the VAR/application will no longer be supported).
And I dont know what the latest package level of HACMP is.
Anyone: if you know a single URL for HACMP updates - please post here. I'll add it to the
vgBookmarks
area.

So do I have to upgrade to ML2 or ML3 to get rid of this rsct - clstat difference problem?

Well, considering the "age" of your AIX system, there is a very good chance that have spotted a bug which has long been resolved.
Before you update be sure you have a good mksysb of your current system. I forget whether it was ML01 to ML02, or ML02 to ML03 which are changed enough that older boot media cannot be used to (easily) restore a new mksysb image. This is particularly important when using NIM to restore a system.

Not what I can help you with without installing a cluster to run some tests. However, for anyone to assist it might be useful to know the oslevel you are at, and/or at least the rsct.* fileset numbers and HACMP level and patch level.

rsct & clstat conflict
«

Hi,
I am not sure if there is a problem with my HA cluster
When I use a "clstat" I can see that all the nodes are up
But the out of "/usr/sbin/rsct/bin/ct_clusterinfo" command is:
CLUSTER_NAME IW
CLUSTER_ID 3301870924
NODE_NUMBER 1
Node_Number 1 : Does it mean that rsct only sees 1 node and a problem is waiting for me?
Also cluster id is different with
odmget HACMPcluster output
id = 1174921703
Is there a problem?
Can anyone help?
Thank you
