The external DDS4 you require is IBM 7206-220 (IBM External 20 GB 4mm DDS-4 Tape Drive Model 220). I have these available at $875 ea including attach cable for P630 system.

Unfortunately I do not have.
I have only the internal, can not remove the floppy and put the DDS? ? ? ? You must turn off the machine?

You need an external SCSI tape by the sounds of it.

I need to install a unit of the P630 DDS4 tape, but I have no place.
I have to uninstall the unit of disk to install the DDS4.
How can I do that? I can do with the connected machine?
