Sorry to say, I have no experience with MOM. From a quick glance at the documentation it looks simliar to much of the functions I know via SNMP.

btw. afaik there are few modern products based solely, or primarily on SNMP.

And let me be the first to mention that MOM got a prize/notice as a "best of" product in 2005.

Hello,
We need a Unix agent for MOM.
I searched the Management Pack Catalog but there is only one product for AIX.

We need other suggestions
Anybody with experience on this issue?
