I have not tried USB for storage. The POWER4 system I have I think only supports USB for mouse and keyboard.

re: AIX6 OpenBeta - there have been a lot of fixes since then. Beware of problems that are neither supported, nor repairable - although many of the updates on IBM Fix Central will probably be installable.

I have an IntelliStation 275 with a P4 and AIX6 OpenBeta at home. Is it possible to use USB with that? I would like to connect an external hard drive for backups.
