Some other things that may be usefull for you to know

oslevel -rq   

smitty suma

and if there are any filesets missing to go to the next level use this to check
oslevel -rl  5300-09

try

oslevel -s
or oslevel -r
or instfix -i | grep SP

And check the Service Bulletins menu/link in the FastPaths area on the right, and then select your AIX Technology Level - and read the two announcements for both to see which one matches your output.

Some time ago upgraded our AIX boxes to TL 5.3.0.9.

From AIX Fix central, there were 2 service packs (SP1 and SP2) mention for TL 5.3.0.9.

I didn't remember which service pack downloaded at that time.

What is the command to check which TL SP I have installed ?
