I tried to update the messages, but there are many linked files with permissions - so a restore is not likely to be possible.

For much of the thread - I know it isn't complete you can perhaps restore, or summarize the thread in a new thread.

http://test.rootvg.net/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,91/action,post/topic,116.0/ is a working backup. I wont overwrite that for a few days at least.

Not sure, did you delete it by accident? You, and all users, used to have that permission (delete your own topic). I know I have not needed to delete a topic in a long while.

That has been revoked. I'll see if I can get it back from a backup - but no promises on restoring a single thread.
