Assuming you mean an SSA card,
just check the set up of the disks,
and the "Enable/Disable Fast-Write for Multiple Devices" option,
"smit ssafastw", and make sure the disks you wanted are
set up to use the cache.
Otherwise, the battery going flat is not an issue in an OK running system.
