Thanks, Michael.
I searched on the internet but was looking for vert_serv, not for SNI

Function: can't answer that directly. But it comes from these filesets.
lslpp -L | grep sni
devices.common.IBM.sni.ml 1.2.0.2 C F Multi Link Interface Runtime
devices.common.IBM.sni.ntbl
devices.common.IBM.sni.rte
devices.msg.en_US.common.IBM.sni.ml
devices.msg.en_US.common.IBM.sni.ntbl
devices.msg.en_US.common.IBM.sni.rte
It seems to have something to do with a particular high-performance network switch. That is about as close as I can get.

Unknown subsystem vert_serv

Hi everybody,
On some of my AIX 5.3.4 systems, there is a active subsystem vert_serv (/usr/sni/aix53/vert_serv).
I am not sure what it is or what it is used for?
Is there someone who knows this?
Thanks,
Frank
